The Refined Climbing Trainer is a hangboard built for comfortable finger training and warming up.

Every edge is engineered by professional climbers based in Salt Lake City, Utah to be rounded and slightly incut, so the load spreads across your fingertips instead of biting into them. That means less skin pain, longer training sessions, and faster skin recovery between them.

Made from solid Sapele, a dense reddish brown hardwood with a ribbon grain. It is hard enough to keep its edge shape over years of use, and it looks good enough that you will not mind leaving it out.

Edges: 25mm, 20mm, 15mm, 10mm, 8mm, 6mm, plus a pinch.

Good for warmups, max hangs, repeaters, and pickups. Works for beginners through advanced climbers.

Questions.

Does it actually save my skin?

Yes — that's the whole design. A square-cut edge concentrates your weight on a thin line of skin; our rounded, slightly incut profile spreads it across the fingertip pad. Less pain mid-session, faster recovery between sessions.

Trainer or Mini?

Trainer for the full edge ladder (down to 6 mm) and home protocols. Mini for crag warm-ups and travel. Most climbers who train seriously end up with both.

How do I use it?

Hang it from a pull-up bar, branch, or bolt with the cord — or use it on the ground for no-hang pickups with a weight.

Can I travel with it?

Yes — solid wood, no metal edges, carry-on friendly. The Mini disappears into a chalk bucket; the Trainer clips to a pack.

Coming back from injury?

Light, controlled hangs on the 25 mm edge are a common rehab tool — but clear your protocol with your physio first.
